Hnmm, looks like Duel Academy's finishing up their year now...

It's so weird you guys end around this time. Meanwhile, I'm already missing summer.

Ah well, come Spring, I'll have a long break before I hopefully enroll into the dueling college.

Maybe I'll try to sign up for that LDS-SAI thing though. It said it's open to certain schools in the city outside of the dueling schools, and Domino High was on the list...

I never liked the weird enrollment period for Duel Academy. It's like a cult or something, making you enter in October when everyone else starts in April.

Like to dissuade people from leaving or something. Creepy.

That's... a stretch.

I don't think it's creepy. I think it's meant to emulate western school periods, actually, since Duel Monsters was an American-made game, first.

But it's a Japanese school?

Is it really? I mean, it's sorta on an island out in the ocean.

It's technically outside of Japan.

But like 99% of the students are Japanese! So it's a Japanese school...

But doesn't it get regular transfers from other countries, too?

I mean, it mostly feels like it only gets a lot of Japanese students because of convenience, for the most part. It's a boarding school for a reason.

But that's like one student out of what, fifty?

It still counts! Besides, it was probably also decided on back when it was the only dueling school around.

Domino doesn't have just dueling schools.
